Dr. Darya was born in Ukraine and moved to the US at age 13. Darya’s passion for patient care stems from watching her grandmother, a medical doctor and research pharmacologist, improve people’s lives every day.
Darya obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from University of California, Irvine and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Western University of Health Sciences. She then went on to complete a PGY-1 Residency at PrescribeWellness. Darya is a Registered Pharmacist licensed in California.
Darya founded TakeWithFood to fill the gap in patients’ knowledge of their medications, as well as to provide a safe space free of judgement and time constraints to really listen to clients’ concerns. Darya believes that TakeWithFood will finally establish a trusting and deep connection between pharmacist and patient – one that’s been lacking in today’s healthcare landscape.
